CANADA
(August 20, 2024) As reported in the media, wildfire suppression efforts are continuing in and around Jasper National Park where Tauck operates several itineraries. Due to the closure of the Fairmont Jasper Park Lodge and limited hotel availability at alternative properties in the region, Tauck has made the difficult decision to cancel the following upcoming departures:
- Canadian Rockies & Glacier National Park - departures beginning 8/28, 8/30, 9/2, and 9/4
- Grand Canadian Rockies - departures beginning 8/30 and 9/6
- Best of the Canadian Rockies - departures beginning 9/3, 9/6, and 9/15
At present, we plan on operating all other departures of our Canadian Rockies itineraries. Given the impacts of the fire, we have made adjustments to future departures in the region with overnight stays moving from the Fairmont Jasper Park Lodge to either the Fairmont Banff Springs or Fairmont Chateau Lake Louise (or a combination of both properties). As soon as we have final details for upcoming departures, Tauck will provide adjusted itineraries to all impacted guests and travel advisors. We ask that guests and travel advisors kindly refrain from calling Tauck for a status update as we are reaching out to guests and advisors in order of their upcoming departures. ISRAEL
(August 21, 2024) As reported in the media, the tragic conflict in Gaza continues. As a result of ongoing conflict in Israel and Gaza, Tauck has made the difficult decision to cancel the following departures:
- Israel and Jordan - All departures scheduled through May 2025 have been cancelled.
Our Global Response Team continues to actively monitor world events on an on-going basis, consulting with our vast network of outside agencies, supplier partners, and other industry contacts to stay abreast of circumstances in all areas where we operate. As always, the health and wellbeing of our guests, employees, and partners are our highest priorities.
