Partner Since 1995
For more than two decades, Tauck guests have sailed on some of the sleekest small ships on the high seas, thanks to Ponant Cruises, our largest cruise partner. When Ponant's founder Jean-Emmanuel Sauvée, based in Marseille, launched the company in 1989, his mission was clear: to bring travelers to "mythical destinations and secret ports" accessible only by small ship and to offer "front-row seats to nature's spectacles." In destinations the world over, Ponant achieves this par excellence for Tauck guests who enjoy flexible cruising, waterside dining, and a relaxed, casual feel along with attentive service from bilingual crews.
